Canon EOS 1500D DSLR
Summary
One of the more recent offerings from Canon, but entry-level nonetheless. The 1500D gets you a larger sensor (in megapixel count) over the 1500D. Then, there’s also NFC and WiFI which is great. What disappoints are the AF points, 3fps burst shooting mode, and limited ISO range.

Pros and Cons
Nikon D3500 DSLR
Summary
The most recent offering from Nikon. We particularly like the D3500 for its features such as 5fps burst shooting, respectable battery, 60fps video recording, and WiFi connectivity. The large ISO range can also be useful for night shots. However, the specs seem almost identical to the D3400. We’re not sure what exactly changed.

Pros and Cons
Fujifilm X-T100 Mirrorless Camera
Summary
Despite being a mirrorless, this one shares more DNA with a DSLR. There’s a solid battery life, but also the weight along with it. The burst mode and AF points are better than DSLRs but not quite in the mirrorless category. Oh, and it records 4K videos (though at just 15fps). We’re not sure where to find the compatible lenses though. Reviews praise the image quality but lament the video recording capabilities and inefficient AF for moving objects.
